Arranged to meet Jian Ming at Serangoon MRT Station today. We had our lunch at Serangoon Central before proceeding to meet Weizhang and Yao Shun at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station to spend the day at Fort Canning. The day started off rather unfortunately, with a drizzle turning into a complete downpour. We sought refuge at the Fort Canning Centre, which is currently in a rather sorry state - No air-conditioning, no Front Desk, no proper exhibition (The display items are all over the place) and no walk-in cafeteria. We also popped by the Battle Box, a less-famous nine-year old place of interest at For Canning Hill. At 8 bucks a pop for an entry and guided tour (which incidentally means a headset which blares information pertaining to each room and a guide who will ask for queries only at the end of everything), I reckon it'd be our one and only visit there in a long time to come (Unless some history society organises an outing to the place and provides free admission, that is).
At the souvenir shop, I got myself a metal key chain and a stack of ten coffee mats; I had intended to get a deck of World War I and II playing cards (which featured many propaganda posters used during the war). We took a walk to the archaelogical dig site (It claimed to be the only such dig site in Singapore, so it was a must-see, heh), where mosquitoes abound, and they were buzzing all over Weizhang. Poor thing! We also went to the far end of the park to see the Raffles Terrace - Raffles' place of residence during his days as Governor of the Colony. His bungalow was rather spartan (okay, so it was empty... I guess the original furniture has been carted off to the Imperial War Museum in London...)

Saw Huiling on the MRT today. She was rushing off for her exams.
Went for my Plastic Modelling Course together with Jian Ming. We did our Primer today, and I guess I'll have to touch up on my model. Bernard says the surface of my Sherman is still too rough...

Went back to Serangoon JC with Jian Ming this morning. Met Miss Karen Ong (Yes, she was finally free...) and we sat in for a GP lesson and provided some tips to the Year Ones.
Rushed down to Zhonghua and managed to meet Miss Tan, Miss Ting and Mrs Raj. Caught a glimpse of Miss Ten, who was busy running around the place (as usual). Heh.
